With over 38 years of experience in the industry, Jim learnt from a young age from the very best; his father Michael Glezos! An absolute craftsman in his trade, Jim understands the importance of the processes involved in installing, sanding and polishing timber floors and staircases and most importantly the preparation that is involved for a perfect job! With years of experience in hard wood floors and quality engineered floors, Jim understands the time, care, consideration, understanding, thought and planning which must go into producing an outstanding result. He is both well-known and highly respected in the Timber Flooring Industry as is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Jim’s core belief is that a successful company relies on the commitment, loyalty and dedication of its staff. His staff are like family to him. Directing JAG Woodworks with his wife Alison of 27 years is not just a job to Jim. It is a passion!

 

When he is not working, Jim loves spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys drives with Alison, remodelling remote control cars, building things in his workshop, relaxing with a great book, swimming in the pool, picnics with the family, enjoying a new movie and spending time at home entertaining friends and family.

With 28 years experience in the industry, Alison’s passion and love of timber floors is undeniable. She has a flair and enthusiasm in helping to create beautiful spaces for her clients with timber floors being the perfect back drop! From straight boards, parquetry designs and the many colours and species available in both Engineered and hardwood floors, Alison takes much delight in guiding and advising her clients with the best flooring option. Teamed with her husband Jim of 28 years, Alison believes that the close knit family oriented atmosphere at JAG is vital for ensuring that not only her staff are happy at work, but that the clients feel it too. She is most proud to be carrying on the legacy of her Father in Law Michael Glezos, and has ensured that good old fashioned customer service has remained within the company.

 

When Alison is not working, she loves spending time with her husband Jim and two children. She also enjoys reading, gardening and going to the movies. Alison loves nature and the great outdoors and stays as active as she can by strength training, cycling and running. She is a keen competitor in long distance road and trail running events, Australia wide.

If there is one team member that is proud to wear the JAG logo, it is Michael! Being a family owned and operated company, he feels that the supportive environment, the constant polishing of skills and experience, team environment and striving to improve on a daily basis is what has helped Michael to be the brilliant installer that he is today. He highly respects being part of a company that teaches you many skills, both on and off site. His calm and methodical nature is well respected and loved by both his colleagues and clients alike. In particular, resolving problems and ensuring that Michael delivers a stunning end result to each and every customer is what makes him so well admired.

 

In his down time, Michael enjoys spending time with his son, attending weekend sporting events, try out new places to eat, making beautiful pieces of furniture, watching a live game of soccer, and relaxing at home.

Christopher is most certainly a master of his trade! He is fastidious, self-disciplined, loyal, thorough, and goes to great lengths to deliver a perfect result. His knowledge of the many various species of timber is extensive, as are his skills in sanding and polishing hardwood floors. He takes his role in being part of the JAG Team earnestly and believes that the common vision we all share at JAG is what forms the basis of a brilliant end result. Christopher is dedicated and to the mission and challenges that each and every project presents and believes that communicating with both the clients and his JAG colleagues brings great results!

 

On weekends, Christopher loves spending time with his wife and boys. They love watching movies together as well as walking and running around the Drummoyne Bay.

As the most senior and experienced Team member at JAG, Victor’s values and skills are admired by all around him. He highly values working for a close knit family business and feels proud to have been part of JAG since its humble beginnings. Being supported at work by his colleagues, the respect the Team has for one another, and the sharing of ideas, expertise and problem solving skills is what Victor loves most about his job. When it comes to wood, there is nothing Victor cannot achieve! He believes that the wonderful multicultural Team we have at JAG and the feeling that everyone is valued, makes for an invincible Team atmosphere.

 

When Victor is not working at JAG, he enjoys skiing, kayaking, camping, snorkelling and photography. He loves the great outdoors and everything that nature has to offer!

With a keen eye for detail, it is most apparent that Chris is serious about his work. The family atmosphere at JAG, communication within the company and respect shown to staff and clients alike is what making working for JAG such a pleasure for Chris. He prides himself on setting out a job well from the start, installing to perfection, and then standing back and admiring a magnificently completed product and service, ready for handover to the customer. Chris aims to please! He strongly believes that having the customer involved in the process from start to finish is what makes JAG the leaders in the industry.

 

On weekends, Chris enjoys taking walks and hikes both alone and with his children in nature. He is also most talented in playing and streaming video games.

Fabio brings so much to JAG Woodworks. Whilst completing his job with a smile, he is a happy, dynamic, and highly skilled installer who loves the team atmosphere at JAG. He enjoys the entire process of installing a beautiful timber floor for each and every customer. Fabio finds setting out each project well, right through to installing the timber most rewarding.

 

When Fabio isn’t working, he is spending time with friends, reading a book, watching movies and staying fit by going to the gym.

Being a fast learner and super hands on, Reagan is a wonderful asset to JAG Woodworks. Whilst carrying out his job with a smiles and great enthusiasm, Reagan enjoys learning new skills on each and every project. Reagan takes great pride in his work, is meticulous and thorough. In addition, he appreciates working alongside such friendly and supportive people in his team who have extensive experience in the timber flooring industry.

During his down time, Reagan restores old tools, goes fishing, plays golf and rides his motorbike. He also enjoys spending time with friends and studying Construction Management at university.

Coming from a family-owned timber farm in the Phillipines, Jerome is familiar with all species of timber. He thoroughly enjoys learning on the job and being part of a skilled team who strive to be the best in their craft. Jerome takes pride in completing every project with excellence. Being part of the JAG Team is more than a job to Jerome. He believes he is part of the JAG family, a company who treats their staff with compassion.

​

When he is not creating beautiful floors, Jerome is spending quality time with his wife. He enjoys playing PS4, serving as a minister at church, drumming and photography.

For PJ, being part of the JAG team means being part of a family. Although home for PJ is the Phillipines, he enjoys the friendships he has made at JAG Woodworks, as well as the love, support and care everyone shows. On each project he is part of, PJ thrives on gaining knowledge and learning. He takes much delight in improving on a personal level, as well as ensuring every customer is both happy and satisfied with the end results. Completing a job 'well' is of utmost important for PJ.

On his weekends, PJ enjoys sampling various cuisines, going to church and exploring many beautiful spots around Australia.

Mo knew he had found a new passion when he began working with timber floors, despite his background in electrical engineering. He first learnt the trade when he moved to Australia from Lithuania and instantly had a thirst to know as much as he could. Mo enjoys learning new skills and completing tasks to perfection, as it instils a sense of pride with every job. What he loves the most about working at JAG is the team; everyone is friendly, has fun along the way, and is easy to work with, which makes it feel like a family to Mo. He feels that each member brings something unique to the table that in turn creates something special for the clients. 

​

When Mo isn’t busy working, he is spending time with his partner, their two children, and their rescues, ‘Rolo’ the three-legged dog and ‘Mudge’ the noisy cat. He enjoys going to the park, beach and pool, as well as movie nights at home and barbecues with friends and family.

Personal satisfaction is what Kevin values most at JAG Woodworks. The pride and sense of achievement he feels from seeing a project through from start to finish is what inspires him each day. The great variety of homes and apartments he works on, along with the variance in the scope of work involved in each project, is what Kevin really enjoys. He sees each project as an opportunity to learn new skills, as no two homes are alike!​ Kevin feels supported as part of the JAG team and loves working with others who are adept in their craft. For Kevin, being a JAG team member means being part of a family.

 

In his downtime, Kevin enjoys spending quality time with his family and being involved in his church and its wonderful community.

More like an ‘artist' in his field, Otabek absolutely loves his trade! Upon completion of every project, Otabek feels a deep sense of satisfaction and enjoys stepping back to admire the amazing work he has completed.​ Each floor he creates is like a work of art to Otabek. With great teamwork and incredible support from the administration, he loves the fact that the environment at JAG is one where everyone helps each other. The team is highly respectful of one another, regardless of background.

When he’s not installing beautiful floors, Otabek loves exploring Australian nature with his family. He also enjoys spending time with his son at playgrounds, visiting beaches, and having picnics.

Sam is a true craftsman in his trade. His attention to detail and precision in installing each floor perfectly is what makes Sam so incredible. He believes that whilst every project comes with unique challenges, he gains enjoyment in finding the best solutions. Working with and learning from other JAG team members for the best possible outcome, Sam’s reward is seeing a happy client! Being part of the JAG team Sam is immersed in a supportive team environment working amongst experienced professionals who are good communicators and respectful of each other. Working on a great variety of projects he gains hands on experience to improve his craftsmanship whilst working within a company with an excellent reputation in the industry.

 

When Sam is not installing beautiful timber floors, he loves spending time and playing

with his two adorable daughters. He is also passionate about soccer and enjoys traveling and exploring new places in Australia.

With a passion for anything construction, R.J. absolutely loves working with wood! He believes that open and honest communication is the key to building trust with his clients. Throughout the duration of each project, R.J. ensures that the correct information is conveyed and answers any questions along the way. The positive attitude held by all at JAG Woodworks is what R.J. loves most about his job. He benefits from learning in a workplace which is not only enjoyable but where the morale is high.

 

R.J. spends his time away from work socialising with others. He appreciates listening to others and learning from their life experiences. R.J. also appreciates the great outdoors! Surfing and bushwalking are just a few of his favourite hobbies.

For Raymar, wearing the JAG Woodworks logo and having the opportunity to work with a highly respected company is something he is most proud of. He also appreciates the skills, opportunities, and experiences which he has been given at JAG. Raymar values both the wonderful customers and the multicultural team he is surrounded by on a daily basis. As a respected and valued team member, Raymar delights in traveling from place to place to create beautiful timber floors. He takes great pleasure in standing back at the end of each day in admiration of the extraordinary floors he has worked on.

 

When Raymar is not at work, he is watching Animal Planet, National Geographic, or the Discovery Channel. He also enjoys fixing broken things, listening to music, and cooking for his beautiful wife.

Jeremiah is meticulous, thorough, and begins each new project with an open mind and willingness to learn. He believes that each customer is unique and that as a team, the ability to work well together and create an impressive timber floor is truly an art form! Besides being surrounded by a fabulous group of skilled tradesmen, Jeremiah is convinced that it is his colleagues which make working at JAG Woodworks a pleasant and dynamic company to be a part of. He appreciates the previous work from other trades, which contributes to the beautiful floors completing each residence in the construction process.

When he is not installing exquisite floors, Jeremiah is a keen scuba diver, gym goer and motorcycle rider. He also loves spending time with his partner, listening to music and studying Construction Management at university.

With a flair and skill in technology, Abi's role at JAG is invaluable. She enjoys visiting our team on site as well as previously completed projects, to showcase our exquisite work for others to enjoy. She appreciates the flexibility of both working in the office and travelling to various job sites. Abi believes that the JAG team works exceptionally well together; that they are collaborative, approachable, and solve problems together efficiently. Regardless of the workload, the atmosphere in the company is a happy and relaxed one.

Passionate about buildings and all things to do with construction, Liam brings a keen eye to JAG Woodworks. Whilst studying Architecture at university, he enjoys being part of our dynamic team. Liam loves how every project he is involved with is different, both geographically and by design. Whilst on site away from uni, Liam is learning a lot about not only the many species of timber he installs, but also about the construction industry itself. For Liam, the team-based environment at JAG and the opportunity to be surrounded by many skilled craftsman on site is most beneficial. The attention to detail is what he has learnt the most from his colleagues.

When not at work, Liam enjoys studying architecture, spending time with his partner and family, playing soccer, and going to the gym and beach.
